Shipping
Our team will package your order within 1-2 business days. We submit a request for our shippers to pick up your order immediately.

Within Canada
Orders are shipped by various couriers. Provincial and federal taxes are applied during checkout according to where the item will be shipped. Orders are shipped from Truro, Nova Scotia and take two business days to process. Weekends are not counted as business days.

IF Canada Posts must be used for a remote location. They state “expedited” shipping takes 3-12 days for delivery. Isolated and rural areas may take longer.

International Shipping
Orders shipped outside of Canada are shipped Courier with a tracking number unless otherwise specified. Orders are not charged Canadian taxes, but they may be subject to import duties, taxes and custom processing fees. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees. Check with your local customs office for an estimate of customs fees.

**US CUSTOMERS NOTE**

Every package entering the U.S. must be cleared through customs. This process is handled by a licensed customs broker — usually the shipping carrier (such as Canada Post/USPS, FedEx, Purolator, etc.). The broker manages all required paperwork, calculates duties and taxes, and ensures the shipment meets import regulations.

Because this step is mandated by U.S. law, brokerage fees are separate from regular shipping costs and aren’t something we, as the seller, can control or collect for ourselves. They aren’t an extra charge from us — they’re simply part of the U.S. import process.

As of August 2025, the U.S. suspended its duty-free “de minimis” threshold, which means all incoming packages, no matter their value, may be subject to these fees. This has made brokerage charges more common across all carriers.

If it’s helpful, we can suggest options like prepaying duties/fees at checkout (where available) or choosing different carriers. Many shipping companies now charge similar fees due to the updated regulations.

Undelivered Items
Where an address has been stated for delivery and the chosen carrier fails to make that delivery. The item is returned to us due to delivery address being incomplete. We reserve the right to still charge the original postage charge, as well as the charge made by our carrier to return the item to us. This will usually be significantly more than the buyer has paid in the first instance for delivery. We therefore request that all worldwide delivery addresses are correctly entered by you, the buyer for delivery from the seller All For Knot Rope Weaving Inc.
